Grants

The European Physical Society and the SigmaPhi Conference support the following grants:

a) 1 EPS Invited Speaker Grant for an amount of 500 euros

The EPS Grant may open the columns of Europhysicsnews for his contribution. If interested, the invited speacker sends the potential article and the email address to the Science Editor Prof. Victor R. The Science Editor of the EPN may then send guidelines to write the article in the magazine.

b) 3 EPS Young Researcher Grants for a total amount of 350 euros each

Recipients of the grants should not normally have received their PhD more than 6 years (or equivalent) prior to the application and present a contribution, studying or working at a European Institution or demonstrating economic need.
The conference SigmaPhi supports each recipient by providing partial local expenses (lunch) and waiving the registration fee.
